gave it a go and did not do to good.remember i have never raced a rwd turbo moter before.thats my excuse anyway.first run too much revs left the line sideways got a [email protected] run i had a better start and ran [email protected] run found out the clutch was fried .had to leave,still managed to get home though.car is ok to drive but i have not used the turbo since

Once you get the clutch sorted and used to the RWD turbo beast, then come to the Rotorstock jap drag event at shakespeare county:

i have just bought some new wheels/tyres so at least i will have some grip now.is this not for the rx7,s only

If you mean the rotorstock event, then no - it is for all jap cars - like jap show at pod. It is run by the Mazda rotary owners club, but all jap clubs invited.
Last year saw the RX7 record smashed, and the european skyline record smashed too.
There were the usual rotary engine car stands, but also skyline, scooby,200sx, etc, and this year MR2's
