pics of fitting a sub in a mk1 it is possible

guy down the road from me owns ice tech if any of you know it - he is also know as the guy that has the escort cossie with boost as the number plate now running over 500 hp
anyways as some of you know i am doing some stuff ot steve K's supercharger
one is a stereo determined to fit a sub amp and disc changer in the car this is what he has made after making about 5 boxes we have 2 that fit perfect and the seats go all the way back
the sub is fitter just doing some finishing touches on the other box which is why it is not at the mo fitted

they are seats out of a toyota corolla
they are supposed to be recaros but when in japan htey were changed over
steve likes htem so all good

Can confirm the comfiness of the Corolla seats. I've got one as an office chair!

Just looking for a pair of black ones to put in the MR2 now.

Ok Lauren, rub it in that i don't have the originals :(

I love the seats i have and find them really comfortable and i feel they support well,especially for me ,who might be just a bit on the wide side :lol:

I didn't mean it in that way Steve. As long as you are happy with them then thats what matters. I illustrated only because of the general mystery around super editions.

sorry steve in the last 3 weeks i have had the car
i really don't like them
but on a good note the rest of the car is superb
really really chuffed with it

Great idea innit Kelvin!

I bought an SC SE Seat from Japan for like £4 or sommit (it cost me almost £70 to ship it, but hey ho) and I am planning on using it as an office chair too!!

yep! just finding it hard to find a good pair of black ones without having to buy the whole car. then again, thats a possibility, engine can go in a kit car.

Would be interested in the measurements and designs of the sub boxes, though Pete.
