& mph is David Hawkins, the president of Club MR2. He was doing the videoing.As for the launch, it is really hard to explain.
I was always told that I would know when I hit my first 1.7 in the 60' and I did.
I hit my head on the seat and kinda through off my awareness. I did not care for that too much so now I am in the habit of pulling my head back in the helmet and pushing my helmet against the seat before I roll up.1.6s are very intense.
The 1.5s and that one 1.4 barely give me any time to comprehend first gear.
It is really just a split second of hoping the car goes straight and that I can get into 2nd gear.
