From September, all UK petrol stations will be selling E10 petrol, containing 10% Ethanol, as demanded by the Government.
The currently available E5 petrol, already a problem in many cars, is set to still be available for a further 5 years, apparently costing around 14p a litre more than today's price, and then discontinued.
Given that Ethanol is so corrosive to plastics, solder, rubber etc.etc., is there any economical way that we can convert our MR2's to eventually run on E10 fuel without problems ?
I rather doubt that expensive fuel additives will be the best answer.

Re: MR2's and E10 Petrol
I read that if need E5 petrol then use Super Unleaded from September.
The mr2 turbo cars should be on Super Unleaded anyway as that is the closest fuel we have to the 100 octane in Japan.
