When has the mr2 been known for its dailyness and comfort? Lol
Its a 20+yr old car - its never gonna be like a rolls royce.

If you can hear the pump over the engine even in traffic then id be suggesting something is wrong.

The walbro on a full tank when you start the engine is not norticeable. Then you drive for 3 hours on a motorway and get to the end of it and it's whining like a b1tch. It's just what they do.

Not a bad pump for performance, but there are more refined alternatives.

When i bought mine it was £134 to my door. Exchange rate may have varied.

i can't hear it, unlike the walbro I had.

I tried to order that one first but at the time they wouldn't process my order for some reason I can't remember. So I went for the normal denso supra one.

Thanks for all the replies, now its comes down to choose one
Denso 952-0152 - OEM replacement
Denso 952-0155 - Supra OEM
Denso/Kyosan 1020 - Tuned Supra

Thanks

Hi Juliuswws
I went with AEM 320 lph fuel pump in the end, from tcbparts - it is as quiet as stock fuel pump so far :)

I was persuaded by a trader that used to be on here to go with the TRE as they are much quieter and he "kept them in stock" he actually fitted a Chinese piece of xxxx that cost about £20 that failed within 60 miles.

So don't trust what everyone says or eBay, lol.

My initial choice and always has been a Walbro 255, I've had them fitted in all my modded cars and they have done the job perfectly and without issue.

However. They are very loud and can become a bit tiresome wirh that constant whine they have.

But, in my experience they really do the job faultlessly each and every time.

Thanks for let me know mate, good to know.
I went with Denso 952-0152 which should be the same as OE. Well...I will know on full boost if it delivers enough when my 2 is back on the road.

Cheers
