Trd2000gt wheel size

Post by MR2TRD8 »

Anyone on here running a trd2000gt?

I'm looking at swapping wheels over, I'm aware stock was 17x7 offset +13 front and 17x8.5 offset +7 on the rear but these sizes aren't exactly flush and I'm struggling to find wheels this size.

Iv found some wheels I like, sizes available are

18x 8.5 offsets available anything between +20 and +40 (fronts?)

For the back two available
18x 9.5 offsets between + 20 and +40
18x10.5 any offsets between 0 and +20

Are any of these suitable?

www.willtheyfit.com/

I find this site very useful. You should be able to enter sizes you have now and then sizes you're thinking of to see the difference it would make.

The only wheel set I thought properly complimented the 2000GT was the first set mounted and specifically created for it when the car was introduced at the Toyota Import Auto Salon in the early 90s: the C5 wheel in 18x8.5"/19x9.5" (unknown offsets). Those sizes were almost revolutionary in the 90s and never made it to the eventual production model.
