Hi all, I'm STILL having issues with my Rev3 turbo. She starts no problem at all but the idle fluctuates and then she dies. Starts no problem at all again but the same happens.
Other times she'll start and run fine but I'm worried to take her out for a drive incase it happens whilst I'm out.

Engine light pops up but no error codes stored.

I've already replaced the spark plugs, the dizzy cap and arm, the distributor itself, the coil, the igniter, I've had the ECU checked, I've checked the HT leads with a multimeter, I've bridged the fuel pump in diagnostics and that hasn't changed anything. I'm out of ideas!

Can anyone help or can anyone recommend an mr2 specialist I can trailer it too? I'm in Scotland but can take anywhere to get fixed, I'm fed up now!

Check setting of TPS and associated plug/wiring.
Also check the IACV, idle air control valve.

Clean out the ISCV.

It's a little valve under the throttle body that opens and bypassses the throttle body itself so there's air for the engine to run at idle. Yours could be sticky and not opening hence stalling.

It's happened to many including myself.
It's also a source for a boost leak if it's stuck open (different issue).

since you have changed everything, have you tried changing the HT leads? I know you said you checked it with a multi meter, but sometimes thats not enough.
