The list of cars I deeply regret selling are too long, and that's before I get into some of the bikes I've sold.

Eg, Absolutely mint black Merc Cossie with full black leather and head cloth, white dials and genuine AMG alloys, 3 mint cossies, MK1 bubble arched escort with 2.1 Burton in it with P and P head, Kent cam, fully caged twin 48 Dellortos etc, Fiesta Supersport with bored out lump, fast road cam, Janspeed and twin 40's. 650 BHP fully caged EVO that took me two years to spec up and mod exactly how I wanted, It's a long heartbreaking list. LOL.

But by far the worst was losing an absolutely mint Celica GT4 widebody with a new freshly run in forged engine, head work, cams, spotless interior, very expensive magnesium refurbed gorgeous alloys. I spent all summer stripping it underneath and replacing every suspension component, polybushed absolutely everything, brand new full stainless steel exhaust and mainifold, new turbo, fresh window tints and was just getting ready for a standalone ecu and to get set up then a full underseal and top notch respray.

Lost it in a bet to someone that had been an occasional business associate over the years but is in actual fact one of the biggest liars, xxxx stirrers, two faced, nouveau riche wannabe hard men I have ever had the misfortune of meeting.

Within a fortnight he had covered the interior in fag burns, seriously curbed every alloy, used EVO-STICK to fix a cheap sat nav to the dash!!!Completely xxxxx the entire engine and somehow managed to make the thing sound like a black cab taxi that had done 400k without a single service. Ran it non stop with the radiator fan switch override on for several roasting hot summer days so caused all sorts of wear and bore scoring/bore wash etc. Broke the alarm and so somehow managed to completely ruin the drivers side lock, smash the rear window by filling the boot full of dodgy items and not bothering to check the clearance, managed to get at least a dozen dents and dings all over the bodywork.

I offered him a fair price to buy it back but him being what he is, said the car was still mint and he had had it professionally serviced since he got it and it was fully valeted each week. It didn't use any oil and the alloys were all perfect etc.

I couldn't stop laughing, half from the blatant cognitive dissonance and bare faced lies which he seemed to get a bit upset about.

Incidentally, the guy couldn't drive a nail into a bar of soap but claimed to be an undiscovered Louis Hamilton.
