Hexham to Penrith A686.

Early morning (6am) on a bright summers day you can not find a better quiet road. When you get up into the hills around Alston and can see well ahead while approaching Penrith the twisting roads are just amazing. Off and on the throttle, BOV going crackers, TBARS out, damn I miss that car.

Those pics must have been taken a while ago.
The Hartside Top cafe was destroyed by a fire in March this year.
