While test driving the MkII RevII this morning I felt something fall onto my leg into the drivers footwell. On checking to make sure it wasn't a snake or spider I noticed it was a pinkish piece of softish rubber material. Once I'd stopped I could see 2 other pieces and they had come from somewhere around the steering column area. They all piece together and form approximately half of a donut ring. The remaining half must still be attached somewhere.
Any ideas and should I be worried?
Cheers

Probably where the steering column goes through the bulkhead

Thanks. Guess I'd better replace it with a new one before any enthusiastic driving.
Bet it will be a dealer part.

Oops. Just noticed I've managed to post it in the wrong section. Should be in the MkII, Rev II section.
