[Mk2] [Turbo] Whiteline ARB fitment for handling

Post by JLW »

Hi Guys,

Advice on handling setup wanted.
Recently bought a full Superpro bush kit and Front & Rear
Whiteline ARB's ( with bushes )
For anyone that has fitted Whiteline ARB's, which did you find the
optimal adjustment for Majority fast road with occasional track use ?
I'm aware this is of course down to preference as the different holes will
allow different characteristics. But if I was to say I wanted a
Neutral setup that balanced between neutralising understeer but didn't make me fight oversteer .... ? lol.
I'm running Meister R zeta R coilovers, Toms Front and rear braces, and will have
a Hunter 4 Wheel alignment setup done following fitment so if anyone has good specs for Toe/Camber etc that would also help.

thanks in advance.

I don't have any real advice to offer on the setting up of the ARB but given that it is stiffer you may want to invest in some of the reinforcement plates to stop you cracking the ARB mounts on the chassis.

I have had whiteline ARBs on mine for years, but have the standard shocks and springs.

I went medium hole on the front and stiffest hole on the back. The turn in is incredible but this set up does promote some oversteer.....which I think is excellent. It's not lairy though and hasn't presented me with any worries.

Hope that helps a bit.
