1994 Rev3 GT Turbo T-bar

Post by craig »

It is with a heavy heart that I have now decided to sell my MR2 turbo, as it doesn't get used, and I'd rather someone get some enjoyment out of it.

The SW20 is becoming a classic car and this particular one was a ground up restoration from a bare shell, so no rusty bolts to contend with!!

The car was resprayed in 2014 (All body panels off/glass out job).

Investable future classic!

It is MOT'd till May 2018, and was last serviced and given a clean bill of health from YVS in May 2017.

Aircon has been removed.

Drives without fault, no rust. Driver's side sill has been repaired and sealed.

Details:

Engine:

Wossner forged pistons
Blitz DSBC boost controller
Apexi Power FC Ecu
KO Racing Induction pipe and K&N cone filter
Berk Decat
Blueflame dual exhaust

Refurbished CT20b turbo 2015 by Universal Turbos
Nimbus covered turbo heatshield
Huge Top mount chargecooler with Radtec Pre-rad
New Toyota radiator fitted 2015 complete with twin SPAL fans replacing the originals.

Bodywork:

standard bodywork, as aside from deeper Aeroware front Polyurethane lip
New genuine Toyota 4 piece T bar seal kit fitted 2014

Wheels:

17x9 Enkei RP01 with recently new 245/40/17 Falken tyres
17x8 Enkei RP01 with 215/40/17 Falken tyres
Tyre pressure monitoring system

Suspension:

Tein Superstreet coilovers
TRD rear anti-roll bar
Fully polybushed

Transmission:

Uprated shift cable bearing kit
Excedy uprated clutch
Goodridge braided clutch hose

Interior:

MK3 MR2 steering wheel
Noble M12 red/black bucket seats

I'll be sorry to see it go, as it's a very fast car. Currently on private plate that will be removed. No test drives, but I'll happily take you out in it.

Thanks for looking.

Price: £7500.

The price is a fraction of what this car cost to build, so grab a bargain!

Thanks :thumleft:

The engine had a replacement engine block assembly as the previous one cracked.

I was told when I bought the block, it had approx 8000 miles on since the rebuild with forged pistons and I’ve done 2 Le Mans trips with the engine. So about 12000 miles on the current engine block.

The cam belt was changed at the same time the engine was fitted in 2015.

Regards,
Craig.

Just keep it craig, youll regret it...

I know you don't use it much. but its winter!!!! come a few months time when theres dry roads and a bit of sun, you'll be out and about in it.

These cars are old, 6 months use out of a year is perfect for them. In fact using it in the other crappy 6 months is madness. So don't feel guilty not using it.

I know what you're saying mate, but time to move on. I've had 5 mk2s over 16 years.

The car is on hold pending viewing this weekend.
