Some of you may already know Rob here on IMOC as 'Spidey' formerly known as rwilson_ie, but thought i would pop up a thread to welcome him and his fellow admin team Geoff(ggrice), Mark (Mnixon) and
Ray( slipsliderg). and their members to IMOC and to the latest of International club alliances that are being formed here on IMOC.
Their own Irish MR2 club website can be found here:

Re: Welcome to our Irish friends at mr2.ie
Hey all, just introducing our club to the world of IMOC, thanks for the intro post Scott
We are a relatively new club, established in August 09, since then the club has grown continuously with members from over the Atlantic, the old US of A, to our neighbours across the Irish Sea in the U.K. Although we are miles apart we are close with our car of choice; the Toyota MR2 in all its guises, Mrk I, II & III. From 1.6 to 2.0 tubbies, even 3.5 V6s and all in between are welcome. We currently have a membership of 173 (and I see Scott is our latest member), not bad for a club only in existence for 7 months.
MR2.ie isn't a formal 'club' (in a legal sense), rather we're a website of interested parties i.e. a community so we have all of the fun without any of the baggage... or that's the idea anyway
Here is a link to our site, drop in say hello, all are welcome www.mr2.ie
I will post up some recent info from a sunrise photo shoot to a dyno day last week.
In the mean time, pleased to greet you, hope to meet you.

I just checked out the site & sighed up, really good lay out...good times
Re: Welcome to our Irish friends at mr2.ie
I'd like to thank Scott for contacting us and forming an official alliance between the communities.
@Ray - thanks for the intro/pics to give people a flavour of MR2.ie
I think that a visit to some of the UK shows will definitely be on the cards. And if anyone is coming over to Ireland as part of an event/run or even over as an individual - post up on MR2.ie in advance and we'll try organise a meet around your schedule

Great pictures, I really enjoyed the slide show, I know that stretch of coast from Portrush to the Giants Causeway like the back of my hand.. Wish I could have been there!
