Confirmed MR2 nut...

Post by tonigmr2 »

Have literally had about 20 MR2s, though have never owned a MK3 :)

Currently have about 5 MK1s in various states of repair...two SC, one being TC'd, one with twin weber carbs and a standard one.

You may have seen my subtle soon to be TC'd car occasionally...

It's getting a major revamp at the moment, including roll cage, Sparco Pro2000 seats and Sparco six point harnesses, AP brakes, Aluminium rad (lighter and more efficient core), battery relocation to front (a lightweight racing battery) and some rather trick body mods! It already has Leda gas double adjustable suspension.

The TC engine is described here:

So watch out tubbies, it's going to be fast! :D 8)

seriously though it's good to see someone stopping the MK1's rusting away. i loved my gold/rust coloured one and miss it loads! Turbo is cool but no where near as fun down a back road at 80mph :D

You are a cheeky lot!

It's a Cusco spoiler John! Hence it will replace existing item.

I know. I was meaning your current one, I actually quite like it!! If you sell it when you put your new one on, let me know. (:

So, what's your new Cusco one like then? got a pic? Is it yellow? (;

Black, but that never stopped me painting anything...!

I will probably keep my old one for posterity though.

Any update on how the TC is coming on, Toni?
Mk2 NA Rev1 -*- Mk2 Turbo Rev2 -*- Mk1 NA -*- Mk2 Turbo Rev 3 = all gone!

Not wanting to steal your thunder Toni - but I've had around 15 Mk1's, never a Mk2, and prob wont get a Mk3.

Had 4 SC's, 1 auto, 3 manual, two hard tops and one t-bar.

All the rest NA's.

Hey Pete, dont you think Toni should go for the "windy windows" mod in her TC!
