Getting closer to a Gen3 Turbo swap on my Rev5
At the moment, it just has the stock immobiliser and alarm, both of which work fine. Ideally I'd like to keep as much of the stock stuff as possible. I can keep the stock remote locking, I'm pretty sure I can keep the stock alarm too. I can't keep the stock immobiliser though as far as I am aware as that interacts with the NA ECU, and won't work with the Gen3 Turbo ECU.
So, I need to get an aftermarket immobiliser. I know nothing about them.
I don't want one of those stupid electronic contact ones.
I would prefer it to be invisible, so the transponder needs to be hidden behind the dash panel ideally. If there's a way I can integrate it into a Toyota key like the OE one, that would be amazing, but not essential.
What are my options for an aftermarket immobiliser?

You're pretty much out of luck mate, nearly all standalone cat 2 immobilisers use either a contact fob or a remote fob neither of which you can integrate with the Toyota fob.
Your best bet would be to fit a complete new alarm really and do away with all the oem stuff

Integrating into a Toyota key isn't a must have.

This seems to be the only option - don't know if they are any good though?
I don't want an aftermarket alarm unless I absolutely have to.

Toad are up there with the best, the kit is reliable nearly all issues with them are from poor installation
