****JAE 2016 Ticket Details****

Post by Scott Barton »

Round up everybody! See below for ticket details for this years JAE.

We have an exciting show lined up this year, returning to Newark Showground, the new home of JAE - Europes biggest Japanese car show.

The fancy dress theme has been decided, and this year its Japanese! Get your imagination going, create a good costume, and lets all get involved. Last year was fantastic...lets do it again! There are plenty of really cheap costumes on eBay! Sumo? Karate Kid? Geisha girls?

This year, same as last year's show, all tickets are e-tickets. The ticketing agency that JAE are using will levy a fee of £2.50 per transaction if you book your tickets through the JAE website. However, IMOC-UK is prepared to purchase tickets through the portal in bulk for members, including the GT86 crowd who will also be joining us again. This will save you the transaction fee.

Tickets are priced per person, and will entitle you to the following:
Entry to the show and all it has to offer
Reserve a place for your car on the club stand
Reserve a place for your tent adjacent to the club stand
Access to the club marquee, power & lighting included
Free use of the club supplied BBQ
Lots of fun and laughs!

As in recent years we are looking at booking our now famous Hog Roast for the Saturday night.
Same as last year, we would like to ask for a small donation to help cover the costs. If you could donate £2.50 per person it would be very much appreciated. I am sure you will agree its a small price to pay for what is a very fulfilling dinner! :thumleft:

There is a change in the ticketing price from JAE this year. There is now only a flat rate ticket cost, regardless of duration of stay. Due to this there will be no difference in price from being a Premium or Regular member as we feel the ticket price is high enough already and we want to encourage as many members to attend.
As stated on the JAE website ONLY advance ticket holders will be able to park and stay on the club stand. If you arrive without a ticket there will be an additional £15 gate levy on top of the ticket price to gain entry.

More info on this can be found here:
http://www.japcarclub.org/index.php/wha ... ry-tickets

Ticket Price
Thursday to Sunday - £45 + £2.50 Hog contribution per person
Children under the age of 12 get free entry to the event.

There is a Saturday visitors pass available from 0900hrs, but YOU WONT BE ABLE TO PARK ON THE CLUB STAND and you and your vehicle MUST leave the general public car park by 2200hrs or risk being clamped!

Payment details:
Bank Transfer is preferred so as to avoid any PayPal costs, but PayPal is also accepted if you can cover the fee.
Please PM me for bank details.

Paypal - [email protected]

When purchasing, please PM me straight after with amount of tickets bought (and which ticket type), and your postal address.

Deadline for the club group tickets is Sunday 28th August
Tickets will be sent out 1st class, week commencing 1st September.

If you have any questions then please let me know!

On the day passes I have read are £60 on the gate! :pale: Best bet is to pay for the weekend pass at £45 and rock up when you want saving £15 (each) per ticket.
