Haven't done much for a while on the MR2 however today I started fitting my skirts before it goes in for a resprayed in the next few weeks.

I've gone for Tom's side skirts, Tom's rear bumper with a new standard front bumper and a Aeroware Style Front splitter.

A few pics from today's progress.

Top work buddy, quick couple of questions as I'm going through a build similar to this if you don't mind me asking :D

When the car came back from being forged did you have the re-map carried out before breaking in the engine...or vice versa did you break in the engine and then have it mapped?)

Also could i ask what fueling your running?

Cheers bud and keep up the good work :thumleft:

Thanks guys :D

I ran the car in for about 1,000 miles on the standard ECU before it was mapped.

I have a Walbro 255l pump, 540cc rev3 injectors with a bored out fuel rail.

I'll be changing these it the future for a wolfkat fuel rail and 800cc injectors

Looks really good. I like the rev 2 spoiler with the rev 3 lights. And I like the Border bumper!

January 2014
..the only thing I can promise for sure is slow progress.

May 2015
just have this niggling thought that if I rip out the wiring, then the car will never get out of the garage again.

Still in the garage...

Great thread mate. I'm looking at a similar route to you actually.

Rev 2 turbo engine but I have Rev 3 upgrades. Looking to go forged at some point though, but it's a respray for me first. Looking at the same front end that you got, and very similar skirts. Also looking at a colour change like you did.

I should pop over and see you, you're only down the road from me.
