Been in touch with Campos Vazquez in CA looking to get hold of one of his Aeroware front lips in polyurethane (better than in glass fibre IMO as it will resist cracking when you ground out).

If we have 5 of us they will cost £160.66 each excluding UK postage costs (this covers the lips, transport from the US, customs and VAT)....bargain!

Agreed buyers so far:

1. ashley
2. Dod
3. Craig
4. ya_crow
5.

I had the exact same conversation with him. I was going to go ahead and do a group buy, but I broke the car instead :lol:

After doing a lot of research these are one of the best fitting lips available. Everyone who has one in the US gets it from this guy b

Potentially - it would help if you calculated the total cost per person to the door in GBP for 5, 10, 20 etc or whereever the price breaks are :thumleft:

Price agreed is for 5 lips.

Total costs:
Lips (5 x $160) = $800
Postage = $212.67
Total = $1,012.67

4.5% duty = $45.57
20% VAT= $211.65
Total = $1,269.89

Divide by 5 = $253.98

So £161 each excluding UK postage costs...

This price is subject to negotiation- i.e. I may be able to get it down a bit, but I'll only push on this if we manage to get 5 of us together.

This compares to ~£140 for an ebay copy in polyurethane which sound like they fit "ok", or the CarBen Fibre fibre glass version at £150.

I've never painted one before, but assuming you use an appropriate plastic primer I can't think why you would have any problems at all...same as the stock bumpers :-k

New cost per unit (excluding UK postage) is £150.66 each \:D/
