MK1 Rear speakers

Post by MattLG »

Not exactly an electrical issue but......

How do I get the cover off the rear speakers? One of them is fuzzy like there's a loose connection so I want to check it out but I don't want to snap the cover trying to get it off.

Think you have to remove the whole of the rear trim to get to it IIRC

You need to unbolt the seatbelt from the middle of the B pillar, take off the trim panel behind it, then take of the trim panel round the side window, speakers are behind that.

Matt, it doesn`t take to long, just a number 2 pillips screwdriver, 14mm spanner and 5 minutes of your time.
