I'm interested in an FRP piece, but i'm worried that my GT wing wil turn it into a big pile of nothing when i'm on the track. What's your suggestion on this?

The boots are made thick but if your worried I would suggest bracing the underside where you attach the spoiler so it spreads the weight when its under pressure, something like a metal plate should do the trick.

Do the carbon boot lids need laquering, or are they ok as is? What will happen if they're not laquered?

curiosity

Just out of curiosity.. doesn't making the carbon boot from FRP with just a layer of carbon kinda defeat the purpose of making a carbon one? I mean, if it weighs the same as the FRP anyway?
Is making one only from carbon too expensive or?

Just trying to wrap my head around this :D

Its more cosmetic, every part you see out there on road cars will be carbon/frp mixed hardly anything is dry carbon (100% carbon) due to the cost.

For those asking about laquering, the lids will be fine they would have a slightly better finish if they were laquered but none of our products are and we very rarely get bad feedback.
