Works alright indeed, and the guy is friendly also.

Except 1 heads up for the hood one.
Those ball sockets need to be flat ie rounded off.
Not totally round as the normals ones.

I got a hood pair as well, 2nd hand from some where else, and those are flat as well.
Otherwise there won't be clearance with the wing and scratch and rust.

So its only a matter of attacking them with a file???

I attacked mine with a grinder :)

I think this is the same seller that I bought my bonnet lifters from and they were great for my standard metal bonnet. Only thing is I changed to a carbon fibre bonnet and they were too strong for it. So I had to sell them. :(

Hi guys,

Unfortunately I havent been able to get in contact with the seller via ebay as he hasn't got back in touch with me. I will try to investigate further and let you know if I can get hold of him via phone etc... Sorry for the long wait, I was on holiday.

Mmm Peter worked extensively on my old modded 2 and just one of the tricks he fitted were a pair of bonset gas rams, the bonnet moved smoothly on open with no harsh movements!!

As far as I was concerned these gas rams Peter supplied and fitted were spot on! So if Peter is working on more than they'll be just as great!!

Peter as soon as you have them for sale count me in for a pair!! :thumleft: \:D/
