Anyone played Dead Island for Xbox 360?

Looking at hanging up the MW3 hat and buying this. Had a scout round and IGN gave it all round 8/10.

Looks brilliant, and can be had brand new for £20

played it on pc. if you have plaed skyrim its basically that but with zombies lol

Wana give it a go at some point. Some reviewers love it, others hate it. Been gettings reviews from 3/10 to 9/10 some definitely a marmite game.

i loved this game, take your time and do all the side quests.

Dont spend ages trying to find the 747 until you get to the jungle like i did.

Bit late as you have already bought it but well … it doesn’t live up to the hype. The story is rubbish, the side missions are mind numbingly awful, combat isn’t very satisfying and it just turns into a big slow zombie grind.

The beach section is the best – its gets worse from then on. Some sections are also plain stupid and the only way to get through them is to die repeatedly as you slowly chip away at the enemy – which wrecks any real challenge as you die without penalty (other than having to run miles back to the battle).

Promised so much, but never delivered!

I do agree the beach part is the best, but i loved the game. When you die it costs you money, money you need to repair or upgrade weapons, buy parts and health packs.

Loving this game, so so addictive.

Just made the bank van into an armor plated bad boy. Done loads and loads of quests so far, modded the baseball bat into a nail bat and upgraded it to the max.

Makes short work of zombies
