Abflug style fender flares

Post by splashnatz »

Hi, I can get Abflug style fender flares for the SW20. And would like to set up a group buy. I have got the prices down to match that of a group buy for similar arches, but couldn't get the producer to go even lower :(

The group buy will run from now until the 8th of May 2011. On the 8th of May, we will sort out payment and final production numbers. There will be no production delays. Delivery can be expected within a week of the group buy finishing and payment being received.

The flares are made from fibreglass with a gel coat, so they need very little preparation before going to paint. They can be blended-in on the car, or can be screwed/bolted/riveted on without blending. Naturally, as with all body mods, a bodyshop would be best suited for fitting, but in all honesty they're not that hard to fit yourself – but if you decide to cut the original arch from the car, well, some people get nervous LOL. If you're not using wide wheels, then you'd also want to sort some suitably wide spacers (about 60mm looks right on the rears I think, and maybe 20 or 30mm for the front – all depends on your wheels though).

These were moulded from the original Abflug arches on my car and give a very aggressive look.

These would go great with the genuine abflug lip in the for sale section. When cutting the rear arch do you also need to cut a bit off the rear bumper and side vent?
Cheers

Me too because I don't have a kit on my car.

Any photos on standard body?
