Right, Ive been thinking about this for a while so without further delay........
IMOCs very own British Touring Car Championship (BTCC)
Your circa 300BHP machines will roar round the track while you battle 15 other drivers for top of the table. The madness will start late November then carry on to mid February with a race every Saturday - time to be discussed. You will be choosing your car and number then racing your first race on 26th November 2011 or the following Sat (3rd December 2011). The nimble and also quick cars will be fun but competitive at the same time.
BTCC, all around the world...
Season 1 Race Schedule
The inaugural season of the BTCC consists of ten racing events spanning Japan, Europe and the United States; separated into four legs. The grand finale will be at the infamous "Green Hell" Nordschleife. Events will run for approximately one to two hours = loadsa moooooney!!!
1 - Twin Ring Motegi, Full Circuit - Japan
Length: 50 miles (20 laps)
2 - Suzuka Circuit, Full Circuit - Japan
Length: 50 Miles (17 laps)
3 - Mugello, Full Circuit - Italy
Length: 50 Miles (19 laps)
4 - Circuit de Catalunya, Grand Prix Circuit - Spain
Length: 50 miles (22 laps)
5 - Silverstone Racing Circuit, Grand Prix Circuit - England
Length: 50 miles (21 laps)
6 - Road America, Full Circuit - USA
Length: 50 miles (16 laps)
7 - Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, Full Circuit - USA
Length: 50 miles (28 laps)
8 - Sebring International Raceway, Full Circuit - USA
Length: 50 miles (17 laps)
9 - Hockenheimring, Full Circuit - Germany
Length: 50 miles (22 laps)
10 - Nurburgring, Nordschleife - Germany
Length: 100 miles (10 laps)
Car Regulations - obviously relying on the "Honour System" for this....anyone found cheating will be booted and outed on here!
- Maximum A600 as most will be mid A Class with the below mods.
- Must be a 4 or more seat hatchback or saloon
- Must be a production car - this does include the Mugens etc.
- Only aloud to convert to FWD OR RWD if car is originally AWD
- 290 - 310 bhp MAXIMUM
- No engine swops or aspiration changes!!
- Full race handling package (no upgraded wheel width) e.g. All platform and handling, drive train and race tires - everything BUT tyre widths
- Drive train swaps are allowed but not to 4WD
- Must have real life design with a number
- Forza Aero is a must also.....no fancy bodykits, just the REAL stuff
Race Regulations
- Any assists are available to you in this series.
- Normal or Simulation steering.
- You are allowed braking line but not full.
- Any transmission allowed but would advise using manual as you will be 2 - 6 seconds slower with an auto box.....you've been warned
- Simulation damage, fuel & tyre wear activated.
- One pit-stop is mandatory.
- Drivers that have not participated in qualifying will start at the back. If more than one, the order will be determined by the arrival of the drivers at fault.
General Rules
- I understand many have lives, but if you do sign up, I'm sure everyone (as much as myself) would appreciate you showing up to the races.
- Deliberate bumping & crashing will not be tolerated. Clean racers only. Everyone has an accident every now and then. Just be aware that if you drive outside of you skill....you may get "de boot"
- Deliberately going off-track, also known as corner-cutting, will not be tolerated.
Use common sense
- Don't jump back on track ignoring traffic around you, it will only cause havoc.
- If your car is totalled, unless you can make your way back to the pits without impeding anyone else, be a bud and quit!
- You are allowed to draft, but BE PREPARED TO BRAKE - the car in front is not a breaking zone......
- Be aware of your surroundings at all times and adjust your driving accordingly.
- You are allowed to block your competitor's line, however it is up to the both of you to determine when it's time to let go (let him overtake) or slow down (get back behind). Remember that unavoidable contact could take both of you (if not more) out of the race.
Qualifying Format
Preceding the race, a 10-minute qualifying session (with collisions turned off) will determine the starting grid. Obviously, on the Nurb' finale, this will be one lap. Drivers must pull over before the last minute runs out for the final numbers to be written down.
Race Format
Before the race, drivers will parade one lap to form the double file lineup (two staggered lines) at a 100kph (60mph) speed limit into a rolling start. The race begins as soon as the pole driver crosses the checkered line and announces "RACE ON", allowing himself and everyone else to accelerate freely.

Drivers
The BTCC will run at a maximum of 16 drivers, once all sixteen spots are filled, there will be no more signups until the next season with the exception of early dropouts. When you sign up, please specify your gamertag, car number and the car you will be driving. Note that once your car and number are chosen, you cannot change until the next season.
And there it is.....if you have any thoughts to anything to change, please write it here. This will make it easier
Cheers in advance.

That's why I've left the time blank currently...I'm free every sat but I'm fully aware not everyone is. Please put a time forward .
As for the rolling start yes, the positioning will be done in the "formation lap". We could just do a score based race after the qualifying if people think it will be too difficult and do a normal race start.

Re: IMOC Forza 4 British Touring Car Championship
This just isn't going to work, not on here anyway.
Why not try one of the proper forums like apex racing league(think that's correct) You should get some good competition on there too.
I was going to join a championship for F1 but lost interest.
I haven't had chance to play forza 4 properly yet due to work.
