Key part number
Can any one look at there keys for a mk3 and confirm that it is a denso 1512v model as I need an additional key and I have seen a few on eBay, I would look at my own but I haven't got the car yet!

Mate, maybe a little late but just picked up a MK3 and asked for a new key to be provided with it.
The little bag from the stealership says:
TRANSMITTER ASSY. 89070-52081
I couldn't answer your other question but from the ones I've seen on ebay(I just ordered some replacement plastic Key fob bodies) they seem to do allot of models across the range.
