i have seen this already posted on here but this is another way to locate your sensor in the core

Have been looking for a way to keep an eye on my charge cooler water temp to see actually what temp it is we thought of the following idea

removed the level sensor out of the 205 core

Then i cut off the level sensor at the bottom

i then used a size 14 drill bit to drill through till about 3 mill from the bottom

the sensor im using is from an autoguage unit so have the stealth guages in my dash, its prob wont be perfectly accurate but atleast il know what the water temp is inside the chargecooler

trial fitted the sensor

i am going to use a small thin nut on the out side of the sensor to keep it in place aswell as filling it with silicone rubber to make it water tight
Image

as you can see still needs a bit more rubber silicone to bring it level

refitted cover and cable sheath. now just need to put some detachable connectors on it and done

thought id share this with you all will add more photos of it working when its all back together and running,on the plus side aswell you will be able to tell if the pump has packed up to as the temps will start going wild for no reason
