1) Find the pinout diagram matching your engine...for all 3S-GTE's it is BT-7

2) Gain access to ECU..this will allow you to actually take off from the dash. To do this you need to locate the ECU in the boot. Four trim holders hold the boot carpet in

3) Remove three bolts holding ECU on...

4) Locate wiring block referenced in drawing.
Image

4) Locate speed sensor wire referenced in drawing. It is purple & white...remember this.

5) Reattach wiring block and ECU and redo trim. To redo trim make sure you place holder with the pin out and then push them in

6) Remove trim around gear stick.

7) Remove ashtray to locate two screws.
Image

8 ) Remove screw near ciggy lighter

9) Undo two electrical connection

10) Remove trim totally

11) Remove trim from around ignition barel..one screw underneath holds it in.

12) Remove trim above speedo..this just unclips

13) Remove four scews holding speedo in place.

14) Undo three electrical block connectors.

15) Locate blue block

16) Locate purple & white wire...this is the same wire that goes into the ECU...

17) Place this wire & orange one from Power Meter iD in wire joining block and join together.

18 ) Locate a live & eath wire...I used the cig lighter as it is a live from accessory and not just ignition...again I used wire joiners. The grey wire on the cig lighter is the live and the black ans white striped one the earth.

19) Connect up and mount your meter where ever you want...

20) Turn ignition to acc and make sure unit powers up...

21) Reattach all trim in reverse to what you have just undo and you are done...power meter is now installed!!!
